Facts & Cleaning
Welcome to Crochet with Your Heart! Every item is carefully handmade with love, attention, and unique charm. Here's how to keep your crochet treasures looking their best for as long as possible.
Cleaning Instructions:
To make sure your crochet items stay beautiful and durable:
Hand Washing:
Hand washing is always the gentlest and safest option. It helps your items last longer and keeps them in their best shape. Use cool to warm water with a mild detergent, gently squeeze (donβt wring), and lay flat to dry.
Machine Washing:
If you prefer machine washing, place your crochet item inside a pillowcase to protect it.
Wash Setting: Light spin or gentle cycle, using normal to cool water.
Detergent: Mild detergent only. Do not use bleach.
Drying: For machine drying, keep the item in the pillowcase and tumble dry on low or cool heat. Do not use high heat as it can damage the yarn and shape. Air drying is always a great, safe choice.

Safety Disclaimer:
Some of my crochet animals come with plastic safety eyes. These are tightly secured with safety locks and are designed to stay in place. However:
Small parts can pose a choking hazard if they ever loosen or break.
While this is very rare, please handle with care and inspect regularly, especially if the item is used by small children.
Nine times out of ten, the eyes will stay perfectly in place, but it's always best to be cautious.
